Office Instructions
Minimum Age & Rental Duration
The renter must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license recognized in the Sultanate of Oman. The rental contract begins from the date and time the vehicle is collected and continues until the agreed return date and time.
Late Vehicle Return
The renter is granted a 2-hour grace period from the scheduled return time, during which no penalty applies. If the delay exceeds 2 hours, the lessor may charge a late fee per hour of delay: OMR 3 for small cars and OMR 5 for 4WD vehicles.
Mileage Limit
The maximum allowed distance is 200 km per day for all vehicles. If the renter exceeds this limit, additional charges apply per extra kilometer: OMR 0.05 for small cars and OMR 0.100 for 4WD vehicles.
Vehicle Usage Restrictions
The vehicle must be used for personal purposes only. It may not be used for: racing or sports competitions or any illegal activity, transporting heavy goods or loads exceeding the vehicle's capacity, or off-road driving or in locations that may damage the vehicle without prior authorization from the lessor.
Vehicle Use Outside Oman
The renter is not permitted to take the vehicle outside the borders of the Sultanate of Oman without obtaining prior written permission from the lessor.
Comprehensive Insurance
In the event of an accident, the renter bears an insurance contribution ranging from OMR 50 to OMR 100, depending on the vehicle type and the incident. The renter is responsible for any additional charges in case of vehicle damage or delayed repair until the vehicle is returned to the lessor. Third-party insurance does not cover damages resulting from the renter's negligence or breach of contract terms; renters of vehicles with third-party insurance must pay all repair or replacement costs in the event of an accident.
Negligence & Driving Under the Influence
In the event of driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances, or in the case of negligence leading to an accident, the lessor bears no liability, and the renter is responsible for all resulting damages and costs.
Liability for Damages & Traffic Violations
The renter bears full responsibility for any damages resulting from negligence or misuse, and is responsible for paying all traffic violations or fines incurred from the use of the vehicle during the rental period.
Late Payment & Legal Action
The lessor may charge a late payment penalty of OMR 10 per day of delay. If payment remains overdue for 3 days from the due date, the lessor may take the necessary legal action to collect the amount, and the renter bears all legal costs, including attorney fees and court fees. The lessor may also suspend any additional services or future rental contracts until all dues are settled, and may repossess the vehicle at any time without prior notice in case of delay or breach of contract.
Vehicle Return, Inspection & Fuel Policy
The renter must return the vehicle at the agreed time in the same condition it was received, excluding normal wear and tear. The vehicle is delivered with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same level; otherwise, additional refueling charges apply. The vehicle is inspected upon return, and the renter bears the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged parts.
Accident Fees & Remote Vehicle Lockout
The renter is required to pay OMR 350 per accident. If the renter fails to respond to management, the management may remotely disable the vehicle, and the renter remains liable for the full rental period until the vehicle is returned in good condition.

Security Deposit Required
If your nationality is not from GCC countries, you will have to pay a security deposit of OMR 50.000 in cash at the office. This amount will be refunded after a processing period once you return the car, in accordance with the rental office's policy.
